Capstone Progress Entry 02

After another week down and I’m starting to feel more comfortable in the boat I’m currently in, see above for my collection of ideas I’ve been considering during the beginning of my capstone journey. I’ve truly began to reflect not only in this class but in others as well, considering what issues I’d like to design to combat against, and all the possibilities are there. In my other studios I’m getting the opportunity to explore realms related to sustainability on a personal and city-wide level, which gives me more opportunity to focus on other passions for my capstone. Some of my initial first ideas are hovering within the realms of solving problems within the music industry, the future of how we consume music, the relationship between music and typography, as well as other ideas iterating between music, typography, branded systems and connective networks of individuals. I’m excited to begin diving into research for some of these topics, and curious of where my final decision will take me.
